Global Chemical Manufacturer Turns to Adli Law Group P.C. in Patent Litigation Trial

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (April 24, 2012) – Adli Law Group P.C., a world-class litigation, business law and intellectual property law firm, proudly represented a Japanese-based corporation last month before the International Trade Commission in Washington D.C.

On March 12, 2012, the International Trade Commission in Washington D.C. opened the hearing in Investigation No. 337-TA-772, in which Adli Law Group P.C. represented the Complainant Patent Holder in its case against a foreign manufacturer of polyimide films. At issue were dozens of products that infringe four United States Patents directed to polyimide films and their methods of manufacture. Over the course of the five day hearing, Adli Law Group’s trial team, led by Dr. Dariush Adli and Joseph Zito, presented evidence before the Honorable Judge Robert K. Rogers proving that the Complainant has a protectable interest in its patents, which are being illegally imported into the United States by the Respondents. Adli Law Group P.C. has asked the Commission to block importation of those infringing products and all “downstream” products that incorporate the infringing products. A decision is expected in early Summer 2012.
